The fears you have as a Leader should motivate you to take action - not surrender.

(Scroll down to watch the short Facebook Live video for a conversation about the relationship between fear and leadership.)

Let's talk about the relationship between fear and leadership.

Fear makes you act a certain way.

It will cause you to set easy goals and dreams only - if you set any goals at all.

It will cause you to freeze when someone asks you for your thoughts on an important work issue because you you don’t want to say the wrong thing and look or feel stupid.

Fear will cause you to focus on problems and worries instead of possibilities and wins.

It will definitely cause you to question yourself, your leadership ability, and your purpose as a leader.

If you are a person of faith, and you are full of fear, you will refuse to act when God asks you to. You will be too scared to make decisions, causing you to miss opportunities that might never come back again.

It’s time to make a change if you’ve been operating like this. This is not what Fearless Feminine Leaders do!

From this point forward, make it your goal to identify how fear affects you. Knowing how fear affects you can help you identify your patterns – and that’s a powerful skill that every female leader needs to know!
