The 15 Year Old Version of Me Thinks it's Time to Write a New Comeback Story. Let's Talk About it

Years ago, we started creating the coaching tools and content that would become our RAYMA Foundations™ Leadership Curriculum. We wanted to disrupt an industry that mostly focused on the ol' boys club thinking and old school methods. The market was begging for leadership training from a feminine perspective that taught the soft skills and other leadership qualities that were often overlooked in the past.

Because you can't productivity your way out of burnout, health challenges, family conflict, high turnover, or people issues.

And our clients were tired of feeling like failures for not getting the results the guru's promised. The change they were looking for took heart work. Soul changing work. Brave work. And that's what RAYMA Foundations™ helped them achieve.

And up until a year and a half ago it worked. The mission, the focus, the goal. It all worked.  We knew it and we lived it.

But all of a sudden it didn't.

The Fall of 2024 brought huge financial challenges to our company and the mission got fuzzy. Survival became necessary and it got really hard to hold the goal in the midst of crisis.

But lately something has shifted. We've been sensing a come back.

A come back to why we started this company. A come back to the original mission and the clients who experienced life changing results with the content inside of RAYMA Foundations. It's also been a personal comeback. And both Mandy and I both are feeling it.

They say your 40s are for finding that 15 year old version of yourself and loving her this time.

It's been wild and feral and one day I just wake up wondering wtf happened to my life and when did I lose myself in it? So for me this call back feels not only like finding the heart of RAYMA Team again, but also finding that 15 year old version of myself that was too much for everyone else and let her take up all the space in the room. To embrace the parts of me that I was told to hide and cover up. To no longer see the world in black and white and let empathy and intuition guide me.

And my youngest is loving watching her mom find her spark again. She got the traumatized, sick, bed ridden version of me for years.

So the blue hair, the tattoo, the refusal to apologize or do what I'm told, the punk elder emo millennial vibes, it's all me.

The most authentic version of me because I'm not 15. I'm not a kid from a broken home trying to survive the systems I was raised to never question. I have all the wisdom of a woman who has lived 4 decades. The battle scars. The stories. The hindsight. The victories. The losses. And I'm bringing all of this energy into the next half of my life.

The comeback is professional. Mission focused. Head down. Communal. Unapologetic. And, the comeback is personal. Authentic. Soft. Ruthless. Sensual. Spiritual. Punk.

It's both.

And I'm hoping you stick around for the ride because it might be time to write your own comeback story...

with grace & grit,

~Coach Raychel
